I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge earnings.

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
